Sabine Eckhardt, born 1972 in Bremen, has been appointed to the Executive Board of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) since January 2017. In this role, she is responsible for the monetization of the Group's content, primarily with regard to new advertising products and fields of advertising, as well as the new client business. She also advances the exploitation of group-wide synergy potential via tighter interaction of ad sales, digital commerce activities, and data management departments.
At the same time, in her position as an Executive Board member, Sabine Eckhardt assumes executive responsibility for the Group's SevenVentures business in the Digital Ventures & Commerce segment.
Eckhardt has served in various leadership roles with ProSiebenSat.1 since 2004. From 2005 to 2009, she was the managing director of the Group's Licensing & Merchandising business. Then, she set up the SevenOne AdFactory as its managing director, and is still responsible for its business today. From 2012 to 2016, Eckhardt was part of the management of SevenOne Media, ProSiebenSat.1 Group's seller of video content. Since February 2016, Eckhardt has held overall responsibility for sales innovations and group-wide exploitation of synergy potential as Chief Commercial Officer.
Sabine Eckhardt studied German Studies and Philosophy at LMU Munich and the University of Pisa. She started her career at Mattel, and has also held positions at Digital Publishing AG and EM.TV.
