SevenVentures Pitch Day: Four startups battle it out for multi-million advertising deal from ProSiebenSat.1

Munich, October 17th, 2017 – SevenVentures Pitch Day (7VPD) is back in town featuring a showdown of startups all aiming to secure a multi-million advertising deal. The competition – featuring 4 startups that have made it into the final - will take place at the DLD conference in Berlin on October 26th. In addition to glory and kudos, the winner will take home a €3 million advertising package and the opportunity to promote their product to an audience of millions through TV and online advertising.
The prestigious SevenVentures Pitch Day is now in its seventh year and has helped many companies such as Withings or GetYourGuide to breakthrough onto the market. The winner will receive a media package from the ProSiebenSat.1 Group which, in addition to the multi-million budget for TV advertising, also includes €40,000 for the development of their own TV spot and €200,000 for online marketing. This support is intended to give a growth boost to B2C startups with unique physical products and a scalable business model.

The 7th SevenVentures Pitch Day in Berlin will see four finalists pitching each for four minutes: domani with COLIBRI COSMETICS develops natural and fair skin care products using hyaluronic acid and containing purely vegan ingredients. Ingredients are also crucially important to HAFERVOLL. Their handmade muesli bars are oven-baked and contain no additives. With their product GLOV PHENICOPTERE has made it their mission to make the removal of make-up a pleasant and sensuous task. For this they use a new and patented technology. RISE BREWING offers, alongside NEW York entrepreneurial spirit and Brooklyn lifestyle, cold brewed coffee-to-go in the can as well as freshly tapped cold coffee for offices, restaurants and cafes in the USA - naturally organic, GM-free, and fair trade. If they win they aim to cross the pond into Germany.
On the jury: Joko Winterscheidt
On the panel with SevenVentures CEO Florian Pauthner will be TV presenter and startup investor Joko Winterscheidt. The event will be hosted by Steven Gätjen, supported by Youtuber and fitness blogger Sophia Thiel who will also be on hand to advise the jury. The DLD audience will also be called upon to vote. The winner will be determined after two rounds: In the semi-final two sets of two companies will compete against each other. The final will see the two successful startups from the semi-final battling it out. All four finalists will also exhibit their products at the DLD conference.
